BiT Evolution

‘BiT: Evolution’ is a modern-retro platformer that pays homage to video gaming from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. This single player game follows the story of the main character, BiT. BiT starts as a simple puck from a hockey video game who finds his way outside his world and into the realm of code; A mysterious place found between game levels. Using this realm, BiT travels to a number of worlds, each inspired by past games and platforms, and finds adventure in many forms. Features Innovative Dual-World Mechanic The Rendered Dimension and Realm of Code are two sides of the same coin. By travelling between them, BiT is able to move around obstacles, collect hidden pixels, and see the world in an entirely new way. Narrative Platforming Each world BiT travels to has it's own unique story and characters to experience. (Also puns, lots of puns) Evolving Gameplay While progressing through the game, BiT is able to evolve and visit new worlds, each inspired by past gaming platforms. Our goal is to have four different visual styled worlds in the final version of the game.
